The Florals
Weddings entail many things. The bride’s job isn’t complete after picking out the dress & shoes, there are many other things she has to decide on like the Wedding florals
The wedding florals are a part of the detail that she has put thought into. There are many things that factor into the types of florals she will use. The season, colors, type of bouquet she wants, just to name a few.
The Bouquet
After she slips into her dress and applies the last coat of lipstick, she reaches for her bouquet. Her bouquet will be with her in practically every portrait she will take on her wedding day. She will stand in front of an arbor or on a stage with florals surrounding her.
The Centerpiece
The florals aren’t just limited to bouquets, boutonnieres and ceremony decor, they are also statement centerpieces for the tables in the reception hall as well as decor for the cake in some weddings.
The Florist
This isn’t a job she will leave to just any flower & candy shop, this is a job for a florist with a touch. She will spend time looking through many websites at past weddings that each florist has graced with her art.
The wedding florals I was able to photograph at the Glass Chapel in Broken Arrow last week were extraordinary! The brilliant mind who assembled every stem and petal in its place was a true artist. Not only were they my favorite colors, but flowers as well!
Bailey at Crooked Roots Design out of Claremore, Oklahoma went above and beyond, as she does every time. Watching her work was so inspiring, you could tell that she put her “All” into placing each flower in its spot.
Check out her page and read the testaments. Her clients have been pleased with the end result of what Crooked Roots has designed for them.
