Ames fairytale Wedding

Ames Fairytale Engagement session

From the moment we met Kylie and Matthew we knew their wedding was going to be nothing short of Every girls dream wedding. Their engagement session took place amongst the blooming floral at the Tulsa Rose Garden. They laid on the grass surrounded by purple petals, she hitched a short ride on his back, they shared many kisses, and even ventured into the small greenhouse to share a closer intimate portrait.

Ames Bridal Portrait session

We saw Kylie once more at her EPIC bridal Portrait session. Her handmade vail- YES She made it by hand. From sewing the beautiful gems onto the end to the lace edging. It was breath taking and obviously made for her. She photographed like a porcelian doll. So flawless and dainty. The way her hand would softly rest on her cheek, she would tilt her head towards the sun so it could reflect off her blonde curls.  Something so Victorian about her style. We were counting down the days until her wedding.

The Ames Fairytale Wedding

Here it was! The day we had waiting for, the day Kylie had been dreaming of. The true life Princess would walk down the isle to her Prince. They would proclaim their love in front of many souls and seal it eternally with a kiss. Family & Friends awaited out the ceremony doors to shower them in bubbles before they would get into their white horse drawn carriage that was awaiting them.

At the Reception building there was fun, food and dancing. I don’t think there was one person who didn’t bust-a-move on that floor. These are the moments we LOVE to capture. The candid moments. The unposed times- the genuine laughs and smiles. My favorite part of the night is always the detail shots (& the serving of the cake). We get to let our creativity run wild. From placing the rings in the beautiful flowers of the brides bouquet to finding a spot that is different enough that it just might give it a different look that truly lets the diamond shine out.  Kylie and Matthew had such gorgeous invitations that incorporated their style as well as their wedding colors.
